We provide several options depending on what you and your clients need.
Laparoscopic (Keyhole) Ovariectomy
This involves removing the ovaries only and is the recommended option for most dogs and cats where there is no pathology of the uterus.
Laparoscopic Ovariohysterectomy
This procedure involves removing the uterus and ovaries and is indicated in animals where there is pathology of the uterus.
Laparoscopic (Keyhole) Cryptorchid Castrate
This procedure involve using a keyhole technique to remove one or both testicles from the abdomen.
Laparascopic (Keyhole) Liver Biopsy
This procedure involves using a keyhole technique to take biopsies from the liver. Recent coagulation profile testing must be run beforehand.
Laparoscopic assisted gastropexy
A keyhole assisted gastropexy can be performed at the same time as a laparoscopic desexing or separate to it. The technique is assisted by the cameras but still involve a 5cm incision over the right abdominal wall.
